  • Q: Do you buy and sell new tennis, badminton or squash rackets on this site?
  • A: No. The aim of racqueteers.co.uk is to make playing tennis, badminton or squash more affordable. We hope to achieve this by providing a market place where people can sell their new, used or demo tennis, squash or badminton rackets
  • Q: How much does it cost to list my racket?
  • A: You can list your racket for FREE. We will list your racket until it gets sold. All that is required is that you register on the site and have an active PayPal account.
  • Q: Will I get an email confirming that I have registered my details on your website
  • A: Yes, you will get a confirmation email, but you will need to click the activation link in the email, to activate your account, so that you can login
  • Q: I did not receive your registration confirmation email in my Inbox
  • A: Please check your email Spam folder as sometimes the registration confirmation email can be found there.
  • Q: How do I sell my racket?
  • A: Select the Sell New, Used or Demo Squash/Tennis/Badminton Rackets image on the home page. Enter your used racket details and upload your image. Then click on the 'PayPal Click here to pay' icon. You will then be taken to PayPal website to complete your payment
  • Q: Is there a cost with selling my racket on your site
  • A: Yes. Sellers will pay a £1 sell on fee to racqueteers.co.uk, on sale of sellers racket
  • Q: How much will it cost me to buy a racket?
  • A: You simply pay the racket price and shipping if applicable as proposed by the racket seller. Alternatively you could arrange to pick the racket up from the sellers address and pay for it with cash. If this is done then the seller must end the racket listing via their membership area.
  • Q: How do I know if someone has bought my racket?
  • A: You will receive an email confirming that your racket has been bought, along with the contact details of the buyer
  • Q: Will I get a confirmation email when I buy a racket?
  • A: Yes you will get a confirmation email, that will detail the used racket you bought with its price. You will also get the sellers contact details
  • Q: Do you have any special requirements for uploading racket images?
  • A: Uploaded images should in JPG or GIF formats and are less than 7MB in size.
  • Q: Should my listing contain accurate detail?
  • A: Sellers should ensure that their listings accurately detail any flaws and that the image accurately represents the racket for sale.
  • Q: Is there a minimum listing period
  • A: No we list your rackets until they are sold.
  • Q: Can I upload more than one image per listing.
  • A: Yes you can upload a maximum of 4 images.
  • Q: Can I list my racket without an image.
  • A: No. You must list your racket with an image. This is to ensure that all prospective buyers can view the racket as described
  • Q: Can I update my racket details after it has been listed.
  • A: Yes you can modify your racket details within your Members Area
  • Q: Is there a minimum racket listing price allowed on the site.
  • A: Yes. Only rackets over the selling price of £5 can be listed on the site
  • Q: How long has racqueteers.co.uk been going.
  • A: We officially launched on 1st March 2016. We are new to the market, but we are hoping that we can provide the tennis, squash and badminton sports communities with an alternative cheaper choice.
  • Q: I have a racket that is not in your manufacturer list, will you update your list
  • A: Yes. If we have missed your racket manufacturer out, please CONTACT US as soon as possible so that we can update the list within 24hrs.
  • Q: Should I contact the seller first before buying a racket
  • A: Yes you should always contact the seller first, to confirm that they are still selling the racket. You can contact the seller via the Contact Seller link displayed on the racket details page.
  • Q: If I have already sold my racket, but not via racqueteers.co.uk, should I end the racket listing.
  • A: Yes you should always end the racket listing if you have already sold the racket or have changed your mind about selling it. This prevents someone from buying your listed racket and you having the hassle of refunding buyers money.
  • Q: Is it possible to rate sellers.
  • A: No not at the moment, but we are working towards having a seller and buyer rating system in the future

BEST OFFERS MADE

This feature allows buyers to make an offer on a racket that are currently listed

  • Q: (BUYER) What happens when I make an offer on a racket
  • A: The offer status goes to PENDING and an email is sent to the SELLER informing them that an offer has been made
  • Q: (SELLER) I received an offer on a racket, how can I respond
  • A: Go to the BEST OFFERS MADE/On Your Rackets tab. You will be able to see a REJECT or ACCEPT button next to the offer.
  • Q: (BUYER) My offer was REJECTED by the SELLER can I make another offer
  • A: Yes you can make up to a maximum 3 offers on a listed racket.
  • Q: (BUYER) My offer was ACCEPTED by the SELLER how do I pay for it
  • A: Go to the BEST OFFERS MADE/On Suppliers Rackets tab. You will be able to see a OFFER ACCEPTED/PayPal button displayed next to the offer.
  • Q: (BUYER) What happens if the SELLER does not respond to my offer
  • A: The offer goes to EXPIRED since the offer expired date would have passed. You will receive an automated email informing you that your offer has been CANCELLED
  • Q: (BUYER) Can I make another offer, whilst my previous offer is PENDING
  • A: Yes you can as your previous offer has not been acted on by the SELLER. Your previous offer will be CANCELLED
  • Q: (SELLER) If the BUYER has not paid for the racket, 3 days after I ACCEPTED the offer, what are my options
  • A: A Relist button is displayed next to the offer, after 3 days. You will be able to re-list your racket and the BUYERS offer will be cancelled.
